Tungnath Temple is one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites and an important shrine of the Panch Kedar circuit, located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 12,073 feet (3,680 meters). Known as the world’s highest Shiva temple, Tungnath remains accessible to devotees only for a limited period each year due to extreme winter conditions.
