This is the biggest difference between Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri. Chaitra Navratri makes you mentally strong and fulfills your spiritual wishes. Whereas Sharadiya Navratri is considered to fulfill worldly desires. There are two different Navratris. Even though the power of the mother is worshiped in both forms, the significance is different. We all know that two Navratri are celebrated in a year. One is from the beginning of the year i.e. Chaitra month which is called Chaitra Navratri and the other is Sharadiya Navratri.
