Choosing an industrial monitor is not simply a matter of selecting the right screen size. For OEMs, machine builders, automation companies, and system integrators, the display must work reliably within the mechanical, electrical, environmental, and operational conditions of the machine. A 10.1-inch industrial panel mount monitor has become a practical size for machine HMIs because it provides enough screen area for operating controls, alarms, production information, and visualization while remaining compact enough for machine-mounted installations. Current industrial-display guidance also places 7–10-inch displays among the common sizes for close-range machine interfaces.
