Recently, we were approached by a leading European shipping company to repair a damaged Daihatsu 5DC-17 engine crankshaft following lubricating oil pump failure. During inspection, crankpin ovality and damage of up to 0.6 mm were observed, while crankpin no. 3 showed damage of 1.26 mm, exceeding the manufacturer\'s maximum undersize limit. Our specialized onsite grinding equipment, designed for crankshaft diameters ranging from 35 mm to 700 mm, allows us to handle narrow bearing widths and difficult repair conditions.
