Torrent Player is a free, open-source desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux that streams video and audio torrents directly from the peers sharing them. Paste a magnet link, drop in a .torrent file, or search public indexers from inside the app, and playback starts in seconds. When you skip ahead, Torrent Player requests the pieces for that exact moment first, so you can jump anywhere in a film, album, or audiobook and keep going in about a second. A background queue downloads upcoming items while you watch, and the player handles MP4, MKV, WebM, FLAC, and M4B with subtitles and keyboard controls. There are no servers in between, no accounts, no ads, and no telemetry. Built-in WireGuard, SOCKS5 proxy support, and a kill switch help keep your connection private. All code, including the streaming engine, is available under the MIT or Apache-2.0 license.
