IN THEIR OWN WORDS
There is no question that our two main political parties are more divided than ever. But, my question was, where did this begin? There have always been differences in opinion, but what caused the situation to get so intense? The Presidential platforms are intended to state what the parties have done and what they intend to do in the future. Unfortunately, as I researched the platforms, I found one party was obviously and intentionally heading further and further away from the American experiment that had successfully lasted longer than any of its kind in history. To make it even worse, one party no longer even attempts to hide their disrespect for and contempt of the other party. Today, we are experiencing an open and intentional drive to destroy that experiment.
