Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU is one of the Prestigious Government Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Institute of medical science was implemented in the year 1960.It is also known as IMS. Institute of Medical Sciences BHU Varanasi is a very famous medical college in North India. IMS was approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Institute of Medical Science is affiliated with Banaras Hindu University(BHU) Varanasi. The institute of medical science Varanasi started functioning as a College of Medical Sciences with nine departments of Modern Medicine in 1960. Today it has 33 departments of Modern Medicine Sciences, including 10 Departments of Super-specialties.
