Sustainability has become a boardroom priority. Organizations across industries are committing to reducing carbon footprints, improving energy efficiency, and aligning with ESG frameworks. However, inside many workplaces, a different reality exists. Energy systems often operate at fixed levels regardless of occupancy. Lighting, cooling, and infrastructure continue running at full capacity even during low utilization periods. While sustainability metrics are tracked and reported, they are rarely acted upon in real time. This creates a critical gap between sustainability goals and operational execution.
