Cognitive search as an enterprise search solution that ingests structured and unstructured data from repositories and uses technology such as artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) to decipher search queries in order to provide contextual information relevant to the user’s intent. Cognitive search is language agnostic and uses statistical approaches to identify patterns and correlations within data, improving the relevance of extracted information and increasing the efficiency of query responses.
